Graffito Books have published a new book, Protest T-Shirts: Designs from the Cult Independents.
The book contains 200+ protest designs from the best new independent designers and underground labels around the world, modelled by hot young activists.
Designers include : Freshjive, Too Black Guys and Brian Wood, independent start-ups including 2SickBastards, Sould, SEEE, Young Lovers and Kiser and work from long standing punk-designers Adam Hunt (Goatboy) and John Yates.
The featured shirts range dramatically in style ¬– containing graphic and text-based designs. Issues covered include the oil wars in the Middle East , the destruction of the environment, the lies of the media,and the heritage of the civil rights movement, the god-like influence of celebrity.
